GRASPING AT STARS...ERR...STRAWS

So Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys organization has done it again.... confused their fans and made a crazy decision. The Detroit Lions traded quarterback Jon Kitna to the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday for cornerback Anthony Henry. Now, what part of this trade makes any sense? If you're a die-hard Cowboys fan, as I am, you are scratching your head at this one. A Back-up QB on his way to being CUT gets traded for a starting player?!?!?! Say it isn't so. I'm sure the Cowboys organization pays alot of money to their staff for their expertise and knowledge of how to bring a team to the next level, but when I know that last season, Henry had 55 tackles, two sacks, two pressures, seven pass breakups and one interception, it's hard to swallow this news and accept that Jerry 'nem are doing what's best for my "Boys.

  1. didn’t agree with the trade at first, but now that I look at it I agree with there decision. Ok, cowboys need a proven BACK UP quarterback badly, they don’t have time to get someone in the draft who will immediately come in and make an impact if Romo gets hurt this coming season. Kitna has a strong arm, and had a total of over 3 thoursand yards passing in 2007, and over 4 thousand yards in 2008. He was on a crappy team and almost took them to the playoffs in 2007. Romo is on a great team and didn’t even take them to the playoffs in 2008, so…lol. Anthony Henry is a good player but he is about 32 years old so once you hit that age as a corner back, you are not going to get better and your skills decline, so who do they have to back him up?...Scandrick and Jenkins who are 10 years younger, fast, and amazed the team with how good they can play last year. So now in the draft they can focus on drafting a new cornerback, maybe even a strong safety as well, they have the most draft picks out of any team in the NFL (9 picks), so they will fill the holes and hopefully pick the right players needed.

Not only that though, but they saved millions in the cap room so now they can use that money to pay Demarcus Ware J
